    BlueScreen event and random shutdown

    Hi there,

I have had this PC for about three months and this is something that happens about 3 times a week. I'll come into the room and try to get it out of sleep mode, and then realize it has shut down yet again. When I check the details, here's what I get. I'm not a computer technician but it would be great if someone could take a look at this and see if they can determine the cause.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    BCP1: 0000000000000003
    BCP2: FFFFFA8006E47060
    BCP3: FFFFF80000B9C518
    BCP4: FFFFFA8004DF4C10
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 768_1

Sorry about not posting the dmp file. I couldn't find it. I found it but can't open it, nor will it allow me to attach it even though I'm the only user on this computer. I can't open or zip or unzip or attach or do anything else with it.

Let me try again and if I can do it, I'll post the contents or attach the file. Sorry for my lack of expertise!

Hello. I'm sorry for reviving this thread, but I'm having the same problem as the original poster. I've been having blue screens for nearly a year constantly, and I even reinstalled Windows 7 a couple of times. I'm out of ideas, I'm far from being a computer savvy (I know nothing about computers, to be completely honest), and I tried out everything everyone could tell me.

I need some desperate help, as this is really frustrating, not being able to do nothing.

    Thank you everyone in advance!

Edit: I don't know where my file is, but I think I did upload it correctly.
