Win7, connect to network, crashes other devices
Windows 7 seems to be crashing our other systems, heres the background:
I work at this place called iFly Hollywood, indoor skydiving windtunnel, we have a camera system set up, they are connected via ethernet cables to a switch, which is connected to the server. We take pictures while people are flying, those pictures get sent over a network to the server where they are stored and are displayed on a screens for people to see when theyre done flying.
We also have a wireless access point set up so people who work here bring their laptops and can connect to the internet.
I'm running vista on my laptop, theres another mac laptop and everythings working fine. A coworker got a new laptop with Windows 7 on it. Everytime we connect wirelessly or (wired) to the access point/network. The camera systems go down, only a few pictures will be sent to back to the server and within a few minutes stop working all together.
Then, if we disconnect the Windows 7 machine from our network, reset our cameras, everything starts working fine again. We tried resetting the cameras while the windows 7 machine is still connected, doesnt work. We also had another coworker that got a brand new computer with Win7, no new programs installed, it crashed our system, he installed XP onto it, and it works just fine. We did virus scans on all our computers and the windows 7 computers, no viruses.
We've tried with both the 32bit and 64 bit Windows 7 operating system. And they both crashed our cameras.
Anybody have any similar problems or have any idea as to what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated (and if your local i can set you up with some flight time) Thanks!
