    Many (BSOD?) crashes


    Well my laptop has been crashing a bunch of times since I did a clean install of windows 7 on my laptop.

    The thing is, the crashes aren't even a BSOD. My screen makes the typical BSOD sound but it looks very "static" (in the literal, visual sense) and then reboots.

    Hello Welcome to SF !!

    I guess its an issue with AVG avgntflt.sys. I would recommend to uninstall AVG completely use this tool AVG Antivirus and Security Software - Tools download.

    Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic

    Also i would recommend to run SystemFile Checker.
    Start > CMD > Right Click and Run as Administrator > SFC/ SCANNOW
    I would recommend to download and install Microsoft Security Essientials !!
