hi,

my brother have windows 7 on his computer and he is playing a gane somehow windows have crashed and then winows dont start anymore doesnt goes ahead than the splashing logo so i have entered the console repair mode typing chkdks d: /r and it check and repair everyhing but it stays givin this error "a failure has occurred in the transfer of log messages to the event log with status 50"( its more or less like that because i have windows in pt-pt and i have translate it my self so plase can anyone says me what to except format d:/

Hi and welcome , if it's a registry probelm then try some of the solutions to restoring the registry at Registry - Backup and Restore.

thats useless because i just have acces to the repair console mode and chkdsk d: /r doesnt solve it

OK, if you have the Windows 7 installation disk handy you could use the second method at System Restore.
