    Crash on startup

Hey, guys. Sorry if this is a repeat of an older post, but I couldn't find one that fit this scenario.

I have had Windows 7 for about 4 months and everything was going swimmingly. The only problem with it was that my Hauppauge TV Tuner card would always show pixelated, lagged live TV. After discovering a few 'band-aid' methods that would only work for a short period of time, I decided I would uninstall the card and have windows reinstall it and hopefully everything would work again. So I went into device manager, uninstalled it and then rebooted. When Windows was back up and running it alerted me that the card was now installed and operational (and it was. There was no lag or pixelation). About an hour after, my entire computer froze including the mouse. I did a hard reboot and it froze before it got to the login screen. It wont even let me get into safemode - It will freeze before it can load. I have tried removing the tuner from my computer altogether but the problem persists.

Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks!

    (I'm running a 64bit Windows 7 Professional)

If you can boot from the dvd you can do a repair install.

It froze while Windows was reading the files on the DVD.
