    Hello Welcome to SF !!

I guess its an issue with your Display card (dxgmms1.sys). Remove your Display card driver and download a fresh copy from vendor's website and install it. Please don't use Windows update to download the driver. Also reinstall Direct X Drivers as well.

Run the Memory Diagnostic & HD Diagnostic

Also i would recommend to run System Integrity Checker
Start > Run > CMD >Right Click and Run as administrator > SFC/ SCANNOW
    Update the Following Drivers

    Code:
    PxHlpa64.sys Tue Dec 11 05:19:01 2007
    lmimirr.sys Wed Apr 11 04:02:45 2007
    adfs.SYS Fri Jun 27 02:22:37 2008

    Code:
    SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
    happening.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: fffff80002aaf7ff, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: fffff8800501b5b8, Exception Record Address
    Arg4: fffff8800501ae10, Context Record Address

i don't have any other game on my computer to see if the problem repeat itself in other games as well.

You are correct. This one crash does point to dxgmms1.sys . that is the directx component of your video driver. I noted that the date on that driver is almost a year old.

In order to nail the real cause down we cold use all the DMP files.

In the mean time there are two catchall things you can do.

First run a system file check
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin> sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/")

Second download memtestx86 and run it for 5 passes. It will stress your memory and tell you if there is a problem

Now you must remove all traces of the current video driver and usually the mfr has an un-install tool that removes all traces.

Let us know the results and if you need help just ask

    thanks ken,
the results of the tests show no problems. and since i tried to solve the problem by formating the computer, all the drivers spouse to be up to date. i also installed the latest driver from nvidia web site. but i now keeo getting the dxgmms1.sys error in the bsod.
also as i mentiond above it is happening only while i'm playing call of duty world at war2. and i don't have any other games to test with.
here is the latest dmp file
