Win7 crashes while trying to uninstall Turbo Tax

Help! I bought acer aspire 5534 laptop in Jan. Since then I have had 2 or 3 blue screen crashes. Computer re-started, no big deal. I purchased and tried to install Turbo Tax 2009 yesterday. Installed program, and computer crashed. Restarted and tried to launch TT, got error code 1310...

"Error writing to file. The windows installer cannot create the file <file>. Install Turbo Tax again, and select a different installation folder."

Tried to re-install, got message saying I had to remove previous version first. Tried to uninstall, got blue screen again.

I was able to write this down before computer rebooted.
    APC_INDEX_MISMATCH
This is the message associated with it.

After computer rebooted, there was a message saying that windows recovered from a serious error. These are the details:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 1
    BCP1: 0000000076F901EA
    BCP2: 0000000000000000
    BCP3: 000000000000FFFF
    BCP4: FFFFF880071CFCA0
    OS Version: 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
    C:\Windows\Minidump\041010-30279-01.dmp
    C:\Users\Mom\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-263532-0.sysdata.xml

I got Turbo Tax tech support on the phone for about an hour. They went through all their trouble shooting, and nothing worked. They tried to uninstall "forcibly" using:

    run e:\setup u/ l/

    This produced another crash.

They asked about the .net 3.5 framework. I checked the windows programs, and in turn windows windows features on/off, box was blue. I tried turning the options on, and windows rebooted, tried to configure changes, then got message saying there was a configuration failure, reversing...

Turbo Tax had no other help for me.

I can follow instructions very well, if you have any suggestions for me. I don't know what to do!

    Please help!!!

Are you running the command from an elevated admin cmd/DOS prompt?
START | type cmd.exe | RIGHT-click on cmd.exe above under "Programs" | select "Run as Administrator"

If that does not work, run system restore - choose a restore point prior to the first time that you tried to install Turbo Tax -
    START | type rstrui

When re-installing Turbo Tax, RIGHT-click on setup.exe file, select "Run as Administrator"
