have purchased an external hdd connector in which i can take my laptop hard drive out and plug the hdd into the connector gadget. This means i can connect my laptop harddrive to any computer via usb right??? But windows seven unsuccessfully installs the drivers?? and can't view any files on my laptop hdd, why is this. in my bios on my laptop the hdd is recognised and did not fail any tests

Visit the manufacturer's site for a driver. Download and install.

Is it an IDE laptop HD, or a SATA laptop HD ? Make & model of the adapter ? Do you have a pic of it or a link to it on the internet ?
