    Combination Error 1001 and 41

Hello. I recently upgraded to Win7 and have been dogged by this crash. It will usually happen while playing games, but some games it doesn't happen at all. For instance, I just finished playing Metro 2033 with no problems what so ever, but when I started playing some old school Pirates, the system crashed after just a few minutes. Any thoughts on this?

Can anyone help with this? I'm a stranger to dump files.

Since it only happens under certain conditions, i.e. a certain game, and given the fact that 0x116 is never specific video driver related, you could try updating your motherboard/chipset drivers from the manufacturer's site. Also, you can see this thread:

Opening an elevated command prompt and running the following command probably will not help, but surely will not hurt:

    Code:
    sfc /scannow
If all else fails, I'd use Driver Sweeper to clear all NVIDIA video drivers and files from the machine. Then reinstall the latest driver from scratch.
