    Program crash when performing open/save.

I'm not sure what it is but it has only started happening in the past week or 2.

When I open a program such as Google Sketchup and then hit open or save, the box pops up and then crashes the whole program.

    Code:
    Description:
A problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows.

    Problem signature:

Same thing happens for a few other programs such as Sony Vegas 8 and Gordian Knot.

I looked at doing a system restore but my earliest one is the 16th and it was happening long before then.

Any help on resolving this issue would be much appreciated. :)

    Thanks.

    Welcome!

    I suggest a SFC /scannow and a repair install.
