    Frequent BSOD - Dump Attached

    Hi Everyone,

Attached you can find my latest 3 dump files.

I've been dealing with the problem for awhile now and I'm hoping someone on here will be kind enough to help me out.

I get a random BSOD every so often (about one a day). It doesn't matter what I am doing. I can be either playing a game or doing nothing and the computer will BSOD for whatever reason.

I've done memory checks and the RAM seems to be fine.

Also, here is the output from WinDbg for my last crash dump:

    Hi -

I would start with removal of Kaspersky Internet Security.

Un-install KIS using the KIS Removal Tool (KRT) - Kaspersky Americas Support and Services United States

Download the KRT; save to desktop. Boot into SAFEMODE (NO Networking) - tap the F8 key during boot-up. Then go to desktop, RIGHT-click on the KRT icon and select Run as Administrator.

When complete - re-boot into normal Windows.

Reset the Windows Firewall to its default settings -
START | type firewall.cpl | select firewall.cpl above under programs | top-left, select "Restore Defaults"

Install Microsoft Security Essentials --> http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Next is memtest86+ to test RAM --> http://www.memtest.org/#downiso

    Regards. . .

Wow, thank you very much for the detailed response. I never even knew that Microsoft had a free anti-virus.

When I get home I'll follow the above steps right away and let you know if I still end up getting BSOD's or not.

I did all of the above and everything went smoothly. However when I ran the Memtest86+ I recieved some errors.

The first time I ran it recieved some errors (screenshot attached). I then went into bios and loaded the "Default Safe Values" and ran memtest again overnight and once again recieved some errors (screenshot also attached).

I also attached a screenshot of my ram info I got from my bios.

Can anyone please, please, please direct me as to what I should do next???

Also, I took the ram out to read the info off the label and it said:

    PC3 12800 Gold Series PN: OCZ3G1600LV6GK
    8-8-8 @ 1.65v

I have a total of 3 identical ram sticks.I hope that helps!

    Anyone?

I also changed the RAM timing in the bios from 7-7-7 to 8-8-8 since that was what was listed on the stick itself. I made the change, ran MEMTEST86+ again and sadly still got a bunch of errors.

Did you run memtest86+ on each stick and in every slot (i.e., not all 3 sticks together)?

I actually ran it on individual DIMMs and found the faulty one and removed it. The system appears to be running pretty smoothly now so thank you very much for your help!
