    BSOD errors... new computer, frustrating.

    Hello,

So I built a new computer about 5 months ago and from the start I've been having BSOD's but lately they've been getting worse.

It's always when I play a video game (like wow) or watch a movie. I also get a lot of freezing and black screens, when i get a black screen it's for 3-5 seconds (I can still hear sound), then everything comes back and I get a message saying that windows has recovered from a bad graphics driver.

All these seem to point to a graphics driver error, but I don't really know. I'm including a zip of the minidmp files.

Really hope someone can help me figure this out.

    BSOD during games

I have the same problem, except the black screens. I have BSOD everytime, when I play newer games like COD 5-6 or Assassins Creed 2. But sometimes it happens too, when I'm just browsing. My computer is also new, a friend of mine built it for me. I tried to uninstall the video driver completely, than install the latest driver - not works. Uninstall the latest driver and install an old one - not works. What comes with the vga card is not compatible with windows 7. Donno what to do, i just can't explain how annoying this problem is. Sorry for my english, i'm from Hungary. Please help! Thank you!

I attached the minidump folder. I saw by another people minidump is a .dmp file, but I have much more. So here it is the whole folder...

It definitely sounds like you do have a problem with your graphics drivers or graphics card.
Do you have a separate graphics card or are you using the onboard graphics on the motherboard?
If its a PCI or AGP card, it may be worth your while un-installing the drivers completely, take the card out and put it back in, then re-install the newest available drivers supported by your Operating system.

However, if its onboard graphics then your only option is to un-install and re-install the drivers.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RIGHT DRIVERS INSTALLED.

I have PCI vga card, i've already tried taking it out and putting back. When I uninstalled the driver, I used driver sweeper. I tried the driver according to windows 7 beta, tried the oldest and the latest driver from ati's website. That's all what I can do... I'm thinking of selling this piece of sh*t and by a new one. If it doesn't work anyway... I'm gonna blow up I think.
