HANG when back from screen off..

Hi my friends, i've a problem with my dell note.. (dell studio xps1640)

when i resume from black screen after long time (note doesn't went to sleep mode.. only black screen.. off..), screen go on.. but the system hang.. freeze!!

Sometimes.. after a minute, system work.. but sometimes.. need to power off..

Why this??

my system is:

DELL STUDIO XPS 16 (1640)

P9700
8GB DDR3
256GB SSD
ATI radeon 4670 1Gb
fullhd rgbled 16"
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

ALL UPDATE ARE INSTALLED.. i've just installed the Windows6.1-KB958685-v2-x64 hotfix that i've downloaded from microsoft support site.. (could be solve this problem??)

Hi man.
KB958685 would help you but...
Are latest drivers installed?! Video card too - latest is 10.3?!
If "yes, they are", try the following. Run CMD - administrative rights - and write:

chkdsk /f

and press enter. Accept if it ask you to do it at the next boot.

updated windows 7 with the hotfixes.. tried to do chkdsk /f.. and restarded..but when get the countdown, after the last second of waiting.. system freeze and can't do the check..

why this??

I'd never seen it before. Uninstall all Catalyst drivers and control panel. Reboot Windows, let it install its vga driver and see if problem's still "alive"... Don't install Catalyst drivers for now.
