    Task Scheduler

I get the following error message when I attempt to open Task Scheduler:
"An error has ocurred for task Reminders-Owner. Error message:The specified account is not valid."

    Please help. Thanks

Here's a possible fix (works in Server 2008) should apply just fine to 7.

    • Open windows explorer
    • Browse to C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\WindowsCalendar\
    • Select Reminders - <username>
    • Right click Reminders - <username> and select Delete
    • Click Yes to delete the task
    • Close windows Explorer
    • Open Task Scheduler
    • Error should not appear
This probably came about after you changed your computer's name and/or your username.
