Memory Dump

This one is essentially the same as the earlier STOP 0x124 error on the PCIe bus (as before).

Since hal.dll got involved in the stack (and that everything works OK on XP) I'd have to suspect a compatibility issue here.

Troubleshooting this will require that you remove any add-on hardware that's not essential for the operation of the system. Since many of the these sort of errors involve the video card, ensure that you've got the most up-to-date drivers from Windows Update. If the blue screens still occur after that, try using drivers from the website of the manufacturer of the video chipset (ATI, nVidia, Intel, etc).

I would start with anything that's plugged into your PCIe slots - and either remove it, or update it to the latest version of the drivers. There's also likely to be devices on your motherboard that are hard-wired into the PCIe bus - so update the drivers for the devices on your motherboard.

Also, check your Device Manager to see if there are any issues there. To do this, go to Start and type in "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter.

i'm sorry,but i dont really understand what you want to say. please tell me step by step what to do.

1 - Go to Start and type in "devmgmt.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Let us know if there's any devices listed with red x's or yellow !'s.

2 - get a listing of all the hardware on your system and then visit this website ( http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/hcl/default.mspx ) Check to ensure that all the hardware is listed. In the event that something isn't listed, let us know what it is in as much detail as you can.

3 - remove/disable any hardware that you absolutely can't live without. First download updated drivers for anything that's going to be left on the system after you remove the rest of the stuff. You should only have your PSU, motherboard, RAM, CPU and cooler, hard drive, keyboard, mouse, and monitor attached. No CD/DVD, no network card, no sound card, etc If you can't remove it (built into the motherboard), then disable it in the system's BIOS (not in Windows).

Test and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it doesn't, then it's something that's left that's the issue. If it does stop them, then it's one of the things that you removed that's causing it.

4 - update your video drivers. First check Windows Update to see if there's an update available. If there is, install it Test the computer to see if it still gives BSOD's. If it doesn't, then you've fixed it.

If it still BSOD's, then try video drivers from the website of the manufacturer of your video card (ATI, nVidia, Intel, etc) Then test to see if that fixes it.

hey. thank you all for help. anyways, i downloaded win 7 build 7127. now i dont have memory dump error. for anyone who has that error, its just a bug of 7100RC.

i also have system memory dumping. i don't know what actually happened. please check for me....thanks....i dont know if the file i attach can be read...

I have windows 7 64 bit. I keep getting the BSOD with memory dump. I have my memory dump files, but I don't know how to put them on here so they can be looked at. How can I get them to where they can be looked at?
