edit: I've run sfc, and have included the log here as well. It was able to repair some system files, but there was some other files that were unsuccessful. If you need any more information, don't hesitate to ask.

edit#2: I gathered some more mini-dumps, in case it is of use, to be able to decipher the issues I'm having

Have looked. Of note;

first sfc could not repair all problems. either re- install or re-run

second ram reset all to default or remove most or all to test.

DMP are inconclusive as to what or where.

do you have a restore point and backup from before the problem?

do you have a win 7 dvd to do a repair install? or do you have a restore dvd?

Let us know if we can help

Ken,

Glad you could look into it.

Edit#1: I just noticed that everest is listing my ram as ddr3-1333mhz, where it is actually ddr3-1600mhz *not too sure if that is just an error on everest's part, or if it could possible be a configuration problem with windows 7*

first sfc could not repair all problems. either re- install or re-run

1. I've run sfc several times, and have received the same response each time

second ram reset all to default or remove most or all to test.

2. I only have 4gb ram (G.Skill), you are requiring me to remove the ram, and test? Which programs can I use to test my ram?

do you have a restore point and backup from before the problem?

3. The problem has always been there since I've installed windows 7, and have attempted to load any games, applications have never been an issue. This is both in windows xp compatible mode, as well as normal.

do you have a win 7 dvd to do a repair install? or do you have a restore dvd?

4. I could do a repair install with my Windows 7 DVD. I'm hesitant to do so at the moment, as I had some major issues of it re-formatting my storage hard drives. I can of course unplug the hard drives until the installation is complete. Please let me know if this is a requirement.

If you discover anything further, please let me know.

Wanted to provide an update, as this may possible be part of the reason why I am receiving these BSOD's

Last night when I was burning memtest, via Imgburn, at the end of the burning process (before verification) it would not get past the syncronization cache, and the led on the dvd, would continue to blink (as it would normally while burning) I killed the process via Process Explorer, and everything seemed fine.

This morning while starting up Windows 7, I am now unable to successfully load it up properly. Each time, it stalls while loading any start-up programs. I receive a message indicating that the Windows process is not loading. Usually it will stall while loading my AVS, or while attempting to establish a connection through my USB receiver. While it is loading up the receiver, it will have no bars, and will have the busy/loading symbol on the bar, and will not go any further.

I looked at system specs last nite, and noted that there was 1.8gb available ram left on the system

I didn't mention this before, but now that I'm having these new issues crop up, it might be important.

Previously while using my firefox browser, on occassion it would stall (take awhile to load up a page) but then would make a clicking sound, and then it would load quite quickly. I'm not too sure what causes this, but now that I'm using Windows XP again (I have dual boot installed) there is no stall, nor is there a clicking sound. What could be the cause of this? I think it also happens, while running some programs, such as KMPlayer.

I've run the memtest86+. for one pass this morning, and it came up with numerous errors, which I will post below. Is this an indication of faulty ram? I've had the ddr3-1600mhz g.skill ram for 6 months now, and was told that g.skill was a reliable brand.

I didn't have time to write down all the information presented on screen, but did the first entry, and then only did the failing address column.

TST -2
Pass - 0
Failing Address - 00014f23664 - 335.1 mb
Good - 00000000
Bad - 00400000
Err - Bits - 00400000
Count - 1
Chan - 1

Test - 5

Failing Address / MB
(after first entry, removed the first 000 on each one)

00010f236c0 - 271.1
10f237c0 - 271.1
10f23a60 - 271.1
14f23660 - 335.1
14f236a0 - 335.1
14f237a0 - 335.1
14f23a40 - 335.1
14f23664 - 335.1

Test - 6

14f23664

Please advice, on all of this. All the help, is greatly appreciated.
