Card Reader BSOD

I am trying to install a mag stripe card reader on my computer. Each time I plug it in, it searches for the drivers and starts loading them, then I get the BSOD.

I tried the card reader on my notebook (Also Win 7) and it works with no problems. the dump file is attached - and 'Who Crashed' output is:

On Sat 5/8/2010 2:55:11 PM your computer crashed
This was likely caused by the following module: usbccgp.sys
Bugcheck code: 0xF7 (0x8DB44B9E, 0x94F3A273, 0x6B0C5D8C, 0x0)
Error: DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER
Dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\050810-17035-01.dmp
file path: C:\Windows\system32\drivers\usbccgp.sys
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: USB Common Class Generic Parent Driver
The crash took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect, possibly the culprit is in another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time.

I would appreciate any suggestions on resolving this issue.

Well who crashed it sort of correct. I was caused by the usbccgp.sys. It caused a buffer overrun. Your driver is almost a year old and I wonder if there isnt a newer one. Another thing that cuold cause this exact problem is a virus.

I would re-install and updated drive, and run a complete anti virus scan.

Hello, I have a question about SD Card Readers. I have one where you insert the SD Card, and plug in a USB cable to connect it to the computer. Does the SD Card use a USB Root Hub to connect, or does it use the Realtek 2.0 Card Reader? My real question is, if I had accidentally uninstalled my...
