Update for a fix of BSOD

Guys I just thought I would chime in with a update on my BSOD on my system. If you remember I was getting a BSOD about 1 time a week I change everything I could thank of from changing hardware to software and changing settings in the bios. After reinstalling W7 3-4 times the only thing that was the same was the software I was using. So I started to download my programs one at a time and the next week I installed another program I was checking my event log every day without any problems (UNTIL I DOWNLOADED AVG) I started getting warning and a few errors and then BAM a BSOD. I restarted windows and it ran fine for 5 days and then out of the blue a BSOD again, About one time a week this would happened. So I uninstalled AVG and downloaded microsoft security essentials and for 3 weeks not one BSOD and the system runs great. I guess it is something about my set up that AVG don't play nice with?? I just thought I would tell you guys that are having BSOD problem check your software first so you will not go through the nightmare I went thought. Maybe this will help?

It seems like AVG causes a lot of problems for a lot of people. Personally, I avoid it like the plague after it messed up my XP desktop pretty bad.

AVG has been acting up in the last few months.

MSE is an excellent choice.

You hit the nail I changed to MSE and it was been great!
