Uninstall AVG and then run this removal tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util...avgremover.exe
Then download and install Microsoft Security Essentials.
Update these old drivers:
Run a memory test also. Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder. Boot from the CD, and run at least 5 passes.Code:8afc8000 8afcc180 TVALZ_O TVALZ_O.SYS Thu Nov 08 22:07:46 2007 (4733CF02) 90b0a000 90b12000 FwLnk FwLnk.sys Sun Nov 19 09:11:12 2006 (45606600) 90b28000 90b58000 SynTP SynTP.sys Thu Aug 14 22:02:22 2008 (48A4E3AE) 93c5a000 93d60000 AGRSM AGRSM.sys Mon Nov 10 09:56:37 2008 (49184BA5) 99ca2000 99cac000 secdrv secdrv.SYS Wed Sep 13 09:18:32 2006 (45080528) 93c5a000 93d60000 AGRSM AGRSM.sys Mon Nov 10 09:56:37 2008 (49184BA5) 90b0a000 90b12000 FwLnk FwLnk.sys Sun Nov 19 09:11:12 2006 (45606600) 99ca2000 99cac000 secdrv secdrv.SYS Wed Sep 13 09:18:32 2006 (45080528) 90b28000 90b58000 SynTP SynTP.sys Thu Aug 14 22:02:22 2008 (48A4E3AE) 8afc8000 8afcc180 TVALZ_O TVALZ_O.SYS Thu Nov 08 22:07:46 2007 (4733CF02)

I have 3 gigs of ram. To update the drivers, I need to know how to tell what they are. Please forgive me.
Look up the name (the 4th column - the one's that end in .sys) at this link: Driver Reference
FYI - secdrv.SYS is the most current version available from Windows Update
If it's not there, follow the procedure here:
Please use the following instructions to locate the most currently available drivers to replace the one's that you uninstall OR remove:
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver ReferenceHow To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: http://www.carrona.org/drvrdown.html
I updated the drivers, and updated the computer information. I need to find out how to get rid of the dump files, i will google it.
No need to get rid of the dump files - they're small and take up nearly no space at all.
I'd wait until the problems have been solved for a week or two before deleting them.
