I guess what I'm asking is how the router is causing a kernal error? That's what I want to know and find out how to solve. I don't have an in depth knowledge of comps.

It's not the router causing the problem, it your network card in your computer. Type devmgmt.msc into the start menu, right-click on your card, and select Uninstall. Also have it delete the drivers.

Reboot, and let Windows install the drivers automatically.

I'm not sure I can find a network card on here to uninstall. What are you talking about and what am I looking for?

Both the Ethernet and wireless are network cards. Right-click on them, and select Uninstall.
