Windows Time keeps going back three hours

    Hi all,

I am having a very frustrating problem with Windows Time on my Windows 7 computer. Not only has it happened to my Windows 7 computer, but it has also happened to all of my other Windows XP computers, this time problem only seems to be happening to me (I have no idea why me), it doesn't seem happen to any of my friends or family members, or work computers etc. etc. My problem is my time keeps going back three hours at completely random times. One day my time is correct (after changing it from a previous error), and then the next thing I know, it's gone back three hours again with no warnings whatsoever. I have tried changing the default time server to one of the other listed ones. I've tried not syncing with a time server on the Internet. I've tried manually fixing the time, but it still goes back. Everything that I try, it always seems to go back. I have my computers set on "Pacific Time" and I live in Massachusetts. Does anybody know how to fix this problem? I believe it's a time synchronization error but I have no idea how to fix it, and why it happens to every single computer I use.

    Thanks for the help!

Change your time zone to UTC-5:00 Eastern Time. Why is it set to Pacific if you live in MA?

Thanks for the reply! I never thought to set it to Eastern Time! I'm such a noob when it comes to time zones, I took a computer class in town and the teacher said to set the time zone to "Pacific Time" when we were installing Windows, I guess she was wrong, LOL!
