thanks guys
To start with, you have a few drivers out of date:
1st driver is part of several CD/DVD burning applications - so update any that you have.Code:pcouffin pcouffin.sys Wed Dec 06 03:39:30 2006 (457584A2) VSTBS26 VSTBS26.SYS Thu Oct 16 13:54:06 2008 (48F690AE) VSTCNXT6 VSTCNXT6.SYS Thu Oct 16 13:52:22 2008 (48F69046) VSTDPV6 VSTDPV6.SYS Thu Oct 16 13:57:45 2008 (48F69189)
Last 3 drivers are for a 56k modem. Normally I would not worry about them; but they were loaded at the time of the crash. So it would be advisable to update those drivers too (you should find them on your computer manufacturers website)
Finally, I notice that you are using Kaspersky Security software. We see lots of BSODs that are caused by KIS, and I would advise that you remove it if problems still occur after the driver updates.

Thank you! i really appreciate it, how would i go on about updating it?
I am guessing your computer is a laptop?
What model is it?
its actually a desktop
its an HP m8430f, not sure which update to download from their site though
Hi,
On HPs site there only appears to be one update, and that is for your DVD drive, so install that.
If this is the same system that was mentioned in this thread then we are most likely looking at a Hardware issue.
Still try removing Kaspersky.

so far works great with the update.
Thanks again!!!
I am fairly sure the problem is not related to the DVD drive.. so just see how it goes.
probably not, but it seems to be running OK.
if it crashes again I will post the minidumps again for you on this same thread.
Thanks again Reventon!
