Windows Explorer has stopped working :(

Hello everyone, I'm quite new here.
As you can see, ever since 10 days ago. I started experiencing this pop up that says
    "Windows explorer has stopped working"
and then restarting itself, and everything went fine afterwards.

It only happens whenever I tried to move something within the area of my library be that music files or videos. Not too long ago, I was trying to send a song to my friend via MSN by dragging it from the folder to our chat window, prior to dragging it...this error popped up. Resulting in the library window or folder to be closed down.

I wonder what's there to be done to get rid of this ?
I don't really experience it all the time, only at seldom times. However, it can be very annoying.

    Regards. thank you :)

I ran into this when I first had my new machine. Got progressively worse. Rebuilt the machine and the issue has never resurfaced. I think the OEM installation had a bad driver in it.

It's could be some codec or plugin you installed that tries to read the properties of media files and than crashes and pulls explorer with it? Error reports could tell us a lot, could you find them in control panel (type view all problem reports into the search box).

Sometimes it happens a lot like yesterday it happened twice, within 20 minutes. Sometimes it doesn't appear at all no matter what kind of files you drag between folders.
Pretty mysterious.. but I find it annoying with this kind of flaw appearing when you least expect them too.. :\

Please type the exact line I wrote in my previous post into the search box and take a screenshot of the window that opens after you click the item with that exact name.

sorry about that , I was a little confused that I typed it in the control panel search box when you meant to type it at the Start menu haha.

Yes, I do, don't see Explorer here.
Also, rght click an Explorer report, choose Technical details, copy the text and post it here.

+ You have a mighty lot of crashes & compatibility problems there, boy. What's going on?

Totally man ! Haha, I have no idea really.
My laptop is a Dell studio XPS 16 if that helps.
Right at this very moment, (after leaving it on for 4 hours while I went out)
the Adobe flast player ( I suspect ) crashed again ?
    The results are... :-
    - Unable to play videos
    - No sound emitted
    - Unable to play songs
    - Unable to launch tweetdeck or any animated program ? (except for MSN but no notification sounds)

-shrugs- I don't know what's going on really but a few times the flash player kinda crashh haha.
