windows 7 64-bit

Hi Jack,

My sound card driver was downloaded from Creative website, version: 2.18.0017.

Good point, but p17X.sys can't be found in system drive including un-indexed files.

I will go ahead to give a try on your recommended drive anyway. will keep you guys updated...

Btw, there is another BSOD without any change to the system, with Minidump uploaded below.

This one was probably caused by PCIIDEX.SYS (PCI IDE Bus Driver Extension) Are you running Bit Blocker as well?

You need to re-install pciidex.sys (from BIOS, or HD controller) and if you are running BL stop

Let us know if you need help'

Hi Ken,

How could I update PCIIDEX.SYS? By flashing new BISO? but my current PCIIDEX.sys (modified ‎14 ‎July ‎2009) is newer than latest BIOS update (2008/11/07).
