Am I ever going to fix this???
I have had blue screens for a long time. When we think we've got them fixed, they come back! We recently started having them when the computer went to sleep. I have also had a lot of start up problems lately.
We have new memory, new video card, new hard drive... I don't know what it is because my husband is the one who takes care of everything, but I am pretty sure it's the same that I entered into my profile (or whatever) information before.
I ran crash analyzer and WhoCrashed. WhoCrashed concluded that all three crashes, "... took place in a standard Microsoft module. Your system configuration may be incorrect, possibly the culprit is in another driver on your system which cannot be identified at this time."
Where do I go from here?

you're not alone I am having the same problem as you only thing is that mine happens randomly and not after sleep but I can guarantee you that this is an OS problem and not hardware so don't waste your money on new hardware I've heard people changing everything and still have this problem.

So hard to tell without more info, dmp file, what you've done SW wise, etc. My stab in the dark because it is so often the source of issues: uninstall your gfx driver, boot, do not allow Windows to install a new-found driver if you get such a dialog, and run on Windows generic drivers. You can also boot in Safe Mode (which loads all generic drivers for the most) and see if that "cures" the issue - although it will not isolate the issue.
You can also try EV which may give the same info as WhoCrashed. Right-click on the error event and click on PROPERTIES. A dialog opens and gives you a short blurb. Click on the blue-highlighted link (while online) and a blank HELP AND SUPPORT window will open. Wait a few seconds the window will populate with possible issues and may open a webpage with further comments.

Thanks Monk, What does SW wise mean? I will look into the driver.
Chee06 - It's driving me nuts! Just when I think I found the problem it comes back. My bsod used to be random, the random ones stopped when we unhooked an external hard drive. Now we are having problems with sleep mode and start up. *sigh*

My apologies: SW = software, where I was primarily thinking of the graphics (gfx) driver.
