Computer keeps freezing up.

Hello. My computer has, since i've gotten it half a year ago, kept freezing up every day or two. It occures randomly and i have tried my best to troubleshoot the issue. I'm no computer wiz but i have been using computers for 10 years now and usually i can figure out what the problem is, but this time i'm stumped. Let me describe what happens; my computer will 'freeze' up at any time, be it at user login, idle, when whatching a movie/stream or playing a game. I varies a bit but typically i can't switch program, mouse pointer will work sometimes for a minute or so, sometimes sound goes all crazy and 'repeatative' (i have switched soundcard so that should not be the issue). I've had 1 bluescreen but that is all, the rest of the crashes are all freezing, only thing to do is hit the reset button and i'm good to go again for some time. This happens on avarage once every 2 days of use, but sometimes it can happend 3 times in one day. Where do i go from here? What should i look into? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Hi Noto

Welcome to Seven Forums

Stick to basics:
Have you tried updating your video-card drivers?
Have you updated your motherboard drivers? Latest direct X from Microsoft?
Some of the experts on this site will request that you upload a minidump of your BSOD (freeze) - check this link on how to do that.

Question - do you remember any recent changes (hardware and/or software) that you did prior to these issues occurring?
I am guessing it could be power-related or a hardware failure.

Videocard updated, Direct X updated, motherboard... well MSI seems only to have 'live' update and im trying it now, not looking good. Will try to attatch minidumps now.

Hi Noto

Do you have a spare mouse and/or keyboard lying around that you could interchange with what you have connected at present?
What security/malware software are you running at present?

I have 3 mouses that i switch around (prefer my logitech) as for keyboard, switched that 2 months ago due to an orange juice accident, a plain microsoft one currently.

I run Nod32 and whatever is built into windows.

I did the scan, it found some errors.
System repair seems radical, is it recommended?

The CBS.log is quite large, not really sure how to read what the errors are.
