    Windows 7 bluescreen


    Hi, this is my first post in this thread and I am facing a very frustrating problem in windows 7 home premium. I have a Dell studio 15 laptop. since last one month, i am facing WINDOWS 7 BLUESCREEN ERROR. the error appears and the computer reboots automatically time to time. after logging it tries to find a solution to the problem but fails.

    below is the details of the problem:

    For us to be able to help you you will have to upload the dump file generated by the BSoD.

    You can do this using this utility, which was custom made by one of our members to be able to to this or if it doesn't work just copy C:\Windows\Minidump\061310-17628-01.dmp to your desktop and shift right click -> send to -> Zipped (compressed) folder.

    Now upload that zipped folder to here (using the paper clip button in the quick reply box) for someone to analyse for you.

    Thsi crash was probably caused by fwpkcnt.sys which is part of the Windows Firewall Platform kernel-mode client".

    I assume you arent running it and another firewall. That being the case I would ru a system file check to verify and repair youor system files
    You do that by typing cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

    hi zigzag thnx for the reply...while i was was waiting for a reply i downloaded wise registry cleaner and tried to fix about 400 odd problems that it found...but after rebooting the machine,i am getting bsod at startup....i am unable to login even in safe mode. nothing happens after i press f8. it boots again and gives the bsod. i'm in deep trouble...please help.
