hm, i been trying to overclock, everytime i overclock my cpu which is liquid cooled, it alway fails to overclock after a week or so, and it turns back to default, then i would overclock it again, but then it would fail in a couple days, thats exactly what happen to me this morning, it said your previous overclock failed, so i went to the setup, and overclocked it again, when i click on accept all changes my computer restarted and thats when the error message appeared, atleast thats when i first saw it, i dont think i downloaded a virus, because i have a antivirus and i did 3 quickscans, and 1 full scan and it didnt find no threats, there a file that i downloaded thats suspicious, am not sure, downloaded it yesterday, and today when i when i started it, it says Missing operatng sys

The biggest problem with overclocking is instability. You may know what you are doing, and what you want to do, but your hardware maybe co-operate.

The instability my have corrupted your OS. Do you have a backup that we can restore from?

Do you have a win 7 dvd that we can do a repair install from

Backup is something you do to your computer in case something happens so you dont lose your data. Here is a tutorial on how to do this. Backup Complete Computer - Create an Image Backup

It is really important that you have one. Your computer will break. If you dont have one you will lose data.

Can you boot into safe mode (F8)?

Do you have a win 7 dvd?

Well try reseting your bios back to factory defaults to start, then make sure that your HD shows up in the bios. THen make sure that your HD is inthe boot order in the BIOS (make it first just to be sure) and if it still doesn't boot, try moving it to another sata port and try again. If it STILL fails, then you may have lost your partition on the HD or possibly the entire HD itself, or maybe even the ATA controller due to the overclocking.

You can try plugging in the drive as a secondary in another computer to see if that machine can see it as well. If so then it may be bad hardware on your original machine.
