You obviously modified win 7 start menu. what applications did you use and what files did you change?

Do you have a backup from before the problem?

Do you have a win 7 dvd to do a repair install from?

I use app "start menu 7 v3.6". I was repair the windows. nothing change..

objact dock (stardock) also incorrectly display icon..

my windows is windows 7 ultimate x64....

Have you ever tried to uninstalled stardock or "star mene..." to see if they are the causes?

yes... i just uninstall star dock... now my icon correctly display... thx for your help...

I used to try those programs, I guess they work perfectly for older version of window such as XP or vista. Besides that, although programs like "star dock" can change the way your desktop look, however it's always good to let computer run naturally But I cant deny that using that kind of programs is fun though
