    The error indicated fileinfo.sys
    I would suggest to try running Startup Repair from the installation DVD. Startup Repair will check the filesystem on the disk (FILEINFO.SYS errors). If it doesn't complete successfully, then you'll have to run chkdsk /r from the Command Prompt.

    Well, that was fast. With driver verifier, I had a crash at startup.
