    BSOD while watching a video

    Dear forum members,

I've used a various versions of Windows 7 since last December on different computers, and I had the first BSOD experience on my newest laptop, which is about 10 days old.

    My configurations are:
    Dell Latitude E6510
    Core i5 520M, 4GB RAM, 250GB HDD @ 7200rpm, NVIDIA NVS3100M, Intel Advanced-N 6200 WLAN, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

I was watching a video when BSOD happened, and since then it's not giving me problems yet (~6 hours).

I'm posting minidump and sysdata file that Windows recommended to look at. Would you please let me know what could have possibly caused the problem?

I've been an avid reader of this forum, and I would like to greatly appreciate your time and assistance in advance.

    Thank you!
      My Computer

These drivers should be replaced. Especailly the one in bold, apparently from one of your games.

Thank you for a quick response. Just for more information, I do have MSE for antivirus and Daemon is blocked from starting up (it can only start manually).

    Thank you!
While running kongdiskdownlo, AFD.sys caused a memory exception. AFD.sys is a winsock driver and part of win7

I would run a system file check to verify and repair the afd.sys file. To do that:
Type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow

    Let us know the results

    Ken

    Richard,

The only game installed on this computer is WoW. I did a search for SSPORT.sys on windows explorer, and they appear in folders related to my Samsung ML-1630 laser printer with modification date of 3/6/2007. My printer was not connected to the computer at the time of BSOD.

Sorry I may not be fully comprehending what you're trying to say.

    Dear Ken,

    sfc /scannow gave me
"Verification 100% complete. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

When I was running this on cmd, I wasn't using kongdiskdownload.

OK The reports not not always 100% precise. Use the computer if the problem occurs again, give us a new report.

Old drivers should be replaced, in any event. Do that and get back to us if the problem continues.

Ken may have thoughts of his own, watch this thread.

Great Glad to hear there are no SFC problems.

wether you were running kongdiskdownload, its driver WAS loaded (see below). In fact it may be the reason that AFD crashed.
