Hey all,

Looks like the TV-tuner was the cause of the BSODs. Does this mean I can't use this tuner with windows 7? Or is there a fix somewhere?

Thanks everyone again for all your help.

I would contact the TV-tuners manufacturer; inform them of your problem and inquire into Windows 7 compatibility. Hopefully they will be willing to work with you to get a solution.

Thanks for reporting back. This may well help someone else. I agree with reventon's advice. The alternative is to try another TV tuner that is known to be compatible with Win7.

Seemingly random BSODs
I'm not sure how much more information I could have put into the title, so sorry if it's insufficient. The problem started the day I built my computer, which was the 4th of December, 2014. The first BSOD I encountered was when I shut down my computer for the first time, after it had 'shut...

Seemingly random BSODs
Getting BSODs at random, but it seems as though most of the time it's because I alt tab into or out of a full screen program. This might of course be confirmation bias. Got this when I logged back on, maybe it can help: BCCode: 3b BCP1: 00000000C0000005 BCP2: FFFFF96000164283 ...

Seemingly random BSODs
Hi, I've been experiencing BSODs for a couple of months, but they seem to be getting more frequent recently. It's mostly when I'm running several programs (but not games), but other than that I haven't noticed anything particular. Sorry not to be more specific - I'd be really grateful for any...

Seemingly random BSODs
For a while I've been having some seemingly random BSODs with my new Win7 Hope Premium install. I did have a severe problem with them a while ago but a reformat seemed to help. Unfortunately BSODs seem to have been returned albeit not as bad as with my previous installation (I guess it is a driver...

Been having seemingly random BSODs
My month old desktop has been either freezing/locking up forcing me to do a hard reboot, or just restarting completely on its own since I got it. Only getting the BSODs since I changed the system to not restart automatically. Before that it was just a poof with no explanation. I say random because...

Okay, so I *thought* my computer was fine, but yesterday it started p*ssing me off again. What a surprise... If you knew how many BSODs this friggin system has gone through, you would be surprised. Anyway, I've gotten 2 BSODs since I thought it was fixed. No minidump files have been produced and...
