Did the DirectX thing. Just restarted a minute ago, didn't work. How to I turn on the Microsoft Security Essentials? My new AV is Norton 360 btw.
Went to Microsoft Security Essentials website and the only OS available for it are Windows VISTA and XP..
didn't see that it was Windows Vista/Windows 7.
nvm about this.
Removed Norton and Installed MSE, testing to see if it works.
EDIT:
Did not work. Just restarted again.
Hi, I have the same problem. The PC runs fine all the applications but with game i have random reboots without BSOD and memory dumps. I disabled the option "automatic restart" and enable create dumps, but windows restart anyway and not generate the dump files.
I tried everything. on hardware check the memory (changing voltages and running memtest), motherboard (upgraded the BIOS), PSU, temperature and software, uninstall (and disable) the sound drivers, ATI HDMI Audio.
My suspect comming with DirectX. Depends of the version could work fine or not.
I'm still looking for an answer to this problem, so i'll post here if i can find some answer.
PD: sorry by my bad english.
