Random BSOD needs to be fixed! Please help!
Hello forum members. I'm having many BSOD's. I have no idea what may be the cause but I really need it fixed so I can get back to work. I'm half way through designing a website which is due to be finished very soon!
I only have one dump in there but I have had many. sometimes 10 mins after booting and other 1 hour. The last one happened whilst doing a malicious software removal tools run from Microsoft and others just watching videos. I have also provided a photo of a BSOD (The only one that stayed on my screen and didn't auto restart.) UPDATE: WhoCrashed scan log: Code:

Thanks for your reply. Don't know if you saw the update I added. To tell you the truth.. I wasnt running any anti virus software when this started happening but I now have Zonealarm 2010 installed. It found 1 Trojan, but still getting the BSOD's. I will un-install it now and check out Microsoft Security Essentials.
Thanks Ben |

OK, I'm not having BSOD's any more, maybe because the computer doesn't get a chance to have a BSOD because now it just crashes after about 5 mins of being logged in. Nothing pops up, just total freeze forcing me to restart.
EDIT: I have just been looking through the event logs and there are so many error, warnings and critical's. Here are some of the source titles if they help fix this! CAPI2 (s*** load of these) Microsoft Antimalware kernel-power eventlog |

I keep getting random BSOD! What is the cause and how can it be fixed? As the title shows, I keep getting random BSOD. I'm not entirely sure what happens. Normally I find that when I return home from school/work my laptop is off. I reboot it and "Resume Windows" and I get a pop-up that says "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" Please tell me what is... |

ThinkPad T420s random BSOD with no fixed code Hi, This ThinkPad T420s was purchased last year and no one has been using it since it gets BSOD randomly.
