its a program that alters the start menu (StartMenu7.exe)

I haven't seen this mentioned as a problem in the dump files. However, anything is possible. You can uninstall it and see what happens; you can always install it again.

i have a program somewhere that will give me the temps of the core im just trying to find it i am also shutting down programs i dont need running thank you both for your patience with me

No problem, we are hear to help. I think you can reinstall Speedfan safely. However, you can update it.

54 c is the cpu and 55 c hard drive a took a snipit but had probs uploading

i put the updated speed fan on from softpedia and the cores appear to be rather hot
