Is there a 3rd party firewall present, given the 0xc0000005 exceptions found in the dumps?

I'm using microsoft security essentials that Johnathan suggested.

Well funnily enough whenever i seem to do a windows update, the BSOD's happen more often than not when they are installing.

I'm gonna be running the memtest tonite when i goto bed.
I'll go look for an update for that mouse as well, funny how they've got a 2008 driver for a mouse that was released in 2009. :\

OK So i enabled the driver verifier and this is what it came back with.

Now where this crashed is just as the Windows 7 logo showed on the screen during bootup.
I am currently running in Safe Mode with Networking option on.
Thus why there is 2 dumps in there because i cannot get back into normal windows while the verifier is running as it just crashes out instantly.
The "IRQ_NOT_EQUAL_LESS" whatever from my knowledge typically represents RAM does it not?
The stop error code on this one was a 0x0A <-- thats new to me.

How do i turn Verifier "OFF" so i can get back into normal windows?
    Thanks

Did you ever do the memory test? Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Well i considered running the Memtest86 but decided to take a whole different approach.

I replaced the ram with a whole new set of ram instead.
Well i've had since then only 1 BSOD and it was after playing around with overclocking in BIOS.

But as a whole in windows in general its been fine.
I did however which was not recorded to a minidump for some reason, get a BSOD after once again doing windows updates, but i can't tell if it BSOD'd during the shutdown phase of the updates or during the install of them as i went away from the computer at the time.

So from this dump if its once again pointing at RAM i would probably submise that it could be the actual motherboard itself having issues with either the "type" of RAM or the fact that this Mobo i have is an ASUS M2N-SLI Deluxe (which i think is a 2006/7 model <-- over 3 years old.

    Just an update.

So far i have not had any BSOD's since my last report.
Computer has been running fairly well.
I've only had 1 issue which does not relate to a BSOD.
I started up my pc 3 days ago and the machine would not post nor show anything on the screen.
It was making repeating whirring noise and the DVD drive light kept flashing.
I had to turn the machine on and off several times to get it to boot, this has happened a few times to which i am still skeptical about the DVD drive causing an issue as it sometimes when i place a disc in the drive will not close when i press the button and/or spits the disc back out when i close it.

Apart from that, which is not "always" more of a rare occasion, its doing what it should be doing.. Getting old! :)

    Thanks for the post!

Glad it's working for you now...that was difficult!

Try removing the DVD drive and see what happens.

Could your Creative Sound Card drivers be the cause?
