Windows 7: BSOD Crash after logging in.

Hi There.

Well after long periods of cursing my computer and many restarts + bsod's i've finally been able to get my computer to record a BSOD via a minidump again

Even though since my last few posts i changed my ram, i'm still receiving the same main bsod's 0x3b and 0x1e

I've also recently experienced (which i could not record) a 0x101 error that stated "a process on the secondary clock could not be blah blah" something, didn't get to write it down.
I noticed that one happened when i was playing music videos via my XBOX 360 streamed over the cable network to my tv system from this computer.

From the last post Johnathan King mentioned that my soundcard drivers were out of date, but as my recent post suggests, they can't be because they ARE the most recent drivers installed.

Please have a look over this dumpfile, i thought for awhile back there that everything was going smoothly but it's just all come back to haunt me again (only thing i can think of now is that my motherboard is just to old and has had enough and it's time to get a whole new machine built to save the hassles)

Thanks

I would suspect your outdated nForce chipset drivers. What is the model of your motherboard?

If you get more BSODs, please follow the BSOD Posting Instructions.

Hi There Jonathan,
Thanks for the link, i've updated the nforce drivers.
Once again, as you know you go through these periods where everything is peachy and then BAM your back to BSOD's again.
So the long running issues of drivers i've had is to do with the "razer" otherwords Steelseries MMO WoW mouse i had.
I've since removed all that and replaced that mouse with a Logitech G9X mouse that uses the Setpoint software, that software has been stable as hell from Logitech because i've had it the entire time i've had computers from all keyboards i've ever had.

So yesterday i took my computer to my mates place to leech his 200GB download limit, simply because i'm on a wireless setup with a 10gb cap and i've gone over it haha, stinking Australia's broadband being 50th in the world "cry".

Anyhow, BSOD's are back in full force
Attached is a dump of a couple, i have a small feeling it might be the sound card drivers used for the Creative WoW Headset.

But lets see from this dump if its that or something else.?
Thanks again.

ps. might i ask, are you guys any good with hardware brands & compatability? i'm really looking into building a new system but a little bit weary nowadays with all the crashes i get all the time

Hello,
I haven't had a reply since the last post and i've got some new dumps that might or might not be any different to the last.

I'm really at the stage now there should only be 1 or 2 things left that are seriously to the point of needing either a new PC or having to just deal with these issues.
Please look over these and the previous dumps to let me know what you can see whats causing the problem?

Would be appreciated, thankyou.

Before I start, let me try my hand: it would be very helpful if you could upload the Windows_NT6_jcgriff2 folder for us. In your next post, please use these directions: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...tructions.html

More info besides the dumps is helpful at worst, necessary at times.

Now, do you have both your RAM sticks in the same colored slots? Make sure both DIMMs are in either the yellow or black slots, not a combination.

Still run a RAM test. Use these instructions: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Have you reset your overclocks to defaults? If not, please do so.

Test your CPU, and keep an eye on your temps: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Again, if you need more help, please reply with the BSOD Posting Instructions.

Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1 build 7600)

Hi Lancaster,

Thanks for the info, sorry about the late reply but here is what you asked for.

FYI I have yet replaced the RAM to this system for a 3RD time.
The new RAM i have put into the machine is a corsair approved for my motherboard model of
2GB X DDR2-1066Mhz Twin-X XMS (Paired) 5-5-5-15

Honestly i have just not had time to run any Memtests or Prime tests.
I always monitor my CPU temps via the BIOS and program in windows called Speedfan.
None of the temps on my CPU have ever been out of their normal range from 28 - 38 Degrees CELCIUS.
We are only just coming into summer now with days of tempreatures between 30 - 45 Degress CELCIUS.
(Math for Farenheight to Celcius is (Celcius X 3 - 10))

My ram is in the correct slots, building machines for me is not a problem, its fixing them.
I've also included a 64Bit DXDIAG report.

Some other info i read on the BSOD posting instructions and answers for are below.

Is Windows 7 . . .
- x64
- Windows 7

Another report for a new BSOD since 2 days ago when i posted last.
This is a different error this time.

Someone please let me know asap of whats going on.

If it once more says that my sound card drivers are out of date im gonna go nuts because the creative website does not have any more newer drivers than what i currently have installed.
