    OK Back again
Well i've managed to update a few things since my last post and for quite awhile there, stem the flow of the BSOD's.. but today its back again.
Couple of days ago i updated my sound card drivers from creative to the latest.
Over the past 2 days ive done the most windows updates.
Today i was playing a music video and at the same time i choose to install Lowerping v1.9 which is a proxy program for a game i play.. now this program has never caused me issues in the past so getting a BSOD at the same time i installed that feels like its still to do with something else..

Its still the usual 0x3b and 0x1e errors.
So fair enough i reboot, get back into windows and within about 30seconds of being in windows i get a BSOD again.
The first one today was a "System service exception" and a 0x3b error.. the 2nd one was a 0x1e error.

I haven't had the time to run a complete test of the memory as of yet but it just seems strange i'd go for more than a week without an issue then bam its back again..

Please enable driver verifier: Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers

Please remove any CD virtualization programs such as Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120%. They use a driver, found in your dmp, sptd.sys, that is notorious for causing BSODs. Use this SPTD uninstaller when you're done: DuplexSecure - Downloads

Please remove Deamon tool first. Then turn on the File you download from the website that Jonathan King provide and click the option: "Uninstall", simply like that. Also, I want to corrected what you said, I think You might misunderstood the tool, you use the tool to remove sptd.sys (I saw you use the work "install" above..it's wrong).

What happens? Does it give an error message?

    A screenshot might be helpful.

OK All good with the sptd.sys removal now.
I was able to run it properly this time and get the option to "uninstall"
I think it may have been avast antivirus program last time causing the problem where i could not load that file.. ?

So with that out of the way, any more crashes from here on are more likely ram because i've eliminated all possible causes of driver issues going off previous crash dumps etc.

Atm i haven't had a crash since 15/7/10 @ 8:03PM (AEST Time) which is likely relating to the sptd.sys file which i removed about 5mins ago.

    That crash dump is attached.

Thanks for your help so far guys, been going on awhile but slowly getting there

    Hello,

Is your Driver Verifier still running ?? First update your Razer MMO Gaming Mouse http://www.razersupport.com/index.ph...nloads&_a=view it's dated 2008 lets make that up to date. Then Update your Creative Audio Driver i.e. ctac32k.sys Creative Worldwide Support

Also there is ReadMemory error: Cannot get nt!KeMaximumIncrement value. A possible issue with Memory or Page File. Download MemTest86+ and run 6 passes. And disable the Page File reboot the System.

    Hope this helps,
    Captain

Does Driver Verifier turn it self off after the first crash? I'm not to sure if it is or isn't running still.

I don't have a razer mouse? so thats got me a bit confused, i do have a Steelseries WoW MMO Mouse??? Maybe they use similar drivers?
I also updated to the latest Creative sound drivers about 5 or so days ago?? There's nothing newer on the website for me to update to.

I'll have to run the memtest this mon night when i get time, as i mentioned that was the last thing i was going to do after removing all over issues thus far..
    Or
Is that what has showed up in the last minidump i attached?

    Hi,

The latest minidump is more of the same old, same old.

    BUGCHECK SUMMARY
    Code:

The "Razer" driver the Captain mentioned was this one:
    Code:
    Mo3Fltr.sys Thu Sep 18 14:50:37 2008
It appears to be part of Razer products as well as your Steelseries mouse. Obviously update from Steelseries.

If that is the latest Audio drivers then do not worry about that.

I am curious to know how the memtest goes.

I also noticed that none of the BSODs are VERFIER ENABLED - meaning that you need to activate Driver Verifier ASAP

I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Win7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

    Then, here's the procedure:
    - Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
    - Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
    - Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
    - Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
    - Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
    - Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.

Is there a 3rd party firewall present, given the 0xc0000005 exceptions found in the dumps?

NIS, N360, KIS, McAfee, Zone Alarm, COMODO, etc...?

    Regards. . .
