Did you check the game website for any updates?

Try the clean and safe mode boot. That will tell us a lot.
I've installed a patch the other day as informed by someone in the gaming section.
That clean boot will take forever.
Do you know what the errors are in that txt document?

    No I do not

I hate to interfere with Richard's excellent guidance. But here is a link that might give you another perspective of the problem. This is based on XP and Vista, but if it is indeed a DLL error, it would be the same procedure in Win7.

I un-installed Acrobat.Air, as this was one of the errors, the other is windows photo gallery, which I didn't un-install.
I think I found a fix for my Dirt 2 crashes here "dirt executable has stopped working" - Codemasters Forums
It crashes due to Dirt 2 detecting 8 cores instead of 4 on the Intel i7.
Now to find out why SFC /Scannow doesn't fix the corrupted files found in the cbs.log.

SFC has a copy of some files. It will replace the corrupted files from the one it has. If it does not have a particular file, it will not be repaired.
