Hi Weiryh and Welcome to SF
This has become known issue for Maple story. I'm guessing this problem is related to third party software installed in your computer. And as I did some research, they can be anti-virus firewall, deamon tool (I don't see this in the minidump but If you have please remove them completely), and gameguard.
I went to a website and they said that "Deamon tool+gameguard=BSOD", therefore if you can elimiate those 2, I hope the BSODs will go away (do you get that bsod when you start the game)
I used to be a online gamer and as I remember, many game use gameguard to prevent hacking, but I don't know if they use it anymore, because I have heard they caused many troubles on window 7 (game not start..etc)
Also, What antivirus software are you using, can you tell me?

Here is the bugcheck, it didn't tell me much:
    Code:
    BugCheck 1000008E, {c000001d, 82861347, 9544acc0, 0}
    Probably caused by : ntkrpamp.exe ( nt!KiTrap07+cf )
    Followup: MachineOwner
    ---------
    Also, please update this driver:
    Code:
    AGRSM AGRSM.sys Mon Nov 10 21:56:37 2008 (49184BA5)
it is TOSHIBA V92 Software Modem/Agere Systems Soft/Creatix V.92 Data Fax Modem

Let us know if you need further help

    Hi weiryh,

It will make it easier for us if you fill out your system information. Go to your User CP at the top of the page, look in the left column and click on Edit system specs. Filling in your specs will help us help you. :)

I agree with ttran. For trouble shooting purposes, uninstall you current antivirus completely. If the vendor has an uninstall tool, use it. Install MSE, Microsoft Security Essentials. It is free. The reason is that many third party anti-malware program cause conflicts with Windows 7. MSE, being a Microsoft product, has not been known to cause a BSOD. After you get your system running properly, you can uninstall MSE and reinstall your current AV. If uninstalling your current AV clears up the problem, your problem is solved.

Please post back with your results.

Your error code of 8E indicates the following:

    STOP 0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Usual causes: Insufficient disk space, Device driver, Video card, BIOS, Breakpoint in startup without having a debugger attached, Hardware incompatibility, Faulty system service, 3rd party remote control, Memory

Beside filling your spec as Carl suggested, I want to tell you this story
I used to play Mu online, don't know if you know that game. That game also use gameguard as hacking-prevent program and the thing is my anti-virus program keep blocking it, and I got BSODs many times. Not only giving me BSODs, it also stopped me from using some game-support program. I finally un-installed the anti-virus program and problem had gone
By the way, Third anti-virus programs are known for causing bsods and yours I think is not an exception. Would you be willing to un-install it just for testing purpose only.

    Regard

I have the BSOD problem in my thread and it's really hard to update all this stuff. I have maplestory too.

However, I've had the game since I first got my laptop, less then a year ago. Is it possible that maplestory is causing constant BSOD.

weiryh, if your BSOD problem is fixed from uninstalling maplestory, please post it so I can know

AGRSM.sys -TOSHIBA V92 Software Modem/Agere Systems Soft/Creatix V.92 Data Fax Modem part of LSI Logic -Support and Downloads

I would first try to update this driver from the Toshiba website. If you can't find an update there for it, try the link above. If you need help with installing, let us know.
