Can you D/L CPUZ and post the CPU, Memory and SPD tabs.

What is the brand and part number of your RAM?

    Edit:
    Found it:
The sticks are Corsair branded, DDR2, 800mhz

It was a twin pack, 2x2GB modules and both sticks say XMS2 on them, not sure what that means

    The serial is TWIN2X4096 - 6400C5 G
    I'll do some checking.
Hello, I just changed the RAM voltages in the BIOS to match the ones of the stick, and I'm still getting random reboots etc, I changed the settings to 1.9V as it says on the RAM stick

Here are those settings you wanted

The RAM voltage set to 1.9v should help, let's leave it there for now.

Take a screen shot of the CPUZ tabs mentioned above, with the Snipping tool, Start button> All Programs> Accessories> Snipping Tool.
    Save to a convenient place.

    Then post using this method.

Find your BIOS version on CPUZ, Mainboard tab.
Check for a BIOS update on the ASUS Site should be P5QC BIOS 2103.

If it's not the latest, then you need to update your BIOS.

Read through this post on the ASUS Support Forum,
P5QC Stability with 2 sticks of 2G Corsair RAM
Looks like this problem was solved by following the suggestions from page 3.

Same MOBO and same RAM, looks like same problem, try the recommendations there, let us know if it helps.

Try the BIOS setting for the RAM suggested on page 3.

From reading issues on various sites, this motherboard and processor are difficult to get RAM to run on, also difficult to OC.

Write down your current BIOS settings, change to the ones suggested on page 3 of the ASUS support site and let us know the results.

Hey, sorry for not replying in a while

I called up the manufacturer a few days ago and he said he'll exchange the RAM, so I'm awaiting the RAM to arrive (typing this on another computer) so I can test my PC

He said that if it still reboots after I put the new RAM in (hes changing the make and model) then it's probably down to the motherboard

So I'll reply back in a few days and let you guys know how this pans out

    Thanks for the update,

When you get the RAM, check the RAM manufacturers recommended settings, manually put them in BIOS.
The first four timing settings and voltage, leave the rest on auto.

Let us know the results with the new RAM.
