Desktop Crash!

Okay, so for some reason my desktop is just white and when I roll the mouse over it is gives me the loading wheel thing. Not only that but it shows up through Windows Aero so I'm sure something is wrong. Can someone please help?

Try to right click on what should be the desktop. If personalize appears, set a new one. If that works, but icons are missing. Post again. It could be that the desktop that you selected is not loading correctly.

Well, sometimes, it will load, but it seems that explorer.exe may be bugged, I ran a Norton Scan but it doesn't always load. It's working now, but i'll put a screenshot up if it happens again. (Which it probably will) Also, when I open Task Manager It reverts to normal. :/

Yey456726,

Can you try the following scannow troubleshooter? Don't do this if you have a custom theme, this will revert explorer.exe back to its original. If you have a custom theme though, the custom theme might be causing the issue you are seeing as well.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Ajm398, the last post about the custom theme was for Yey456726. If you start a new thread I will post in it if I can think of anything that might help your situation.
