Yes, please do that. Keep the license key handy, in case you want to reinstall.

I definitely need Lightroom, so is this likely to keep being an issue, with that driver? Sorry, I am new to this sort of troubleshooting.

Most importantly enable driver verifier, as per the previous post.

We are troubleshooting now, though, so you'd be best to remove the program temporarily. If the BSODs continue after the program is uninstalled, you can install it again.

Yes, uninstall it. If it is something you use, see if there is a newer version compatible with Win 7 or look for an alternative program. I have seen other BSOD"s triggered from this driver.

IASTOR.sys belongs to Intel Application Accelerator driver or Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver or Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver - ia or Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver - x belongs to the software Intel Integrated RAID or Intel AHCI Controller or Intel RAID Controller or Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver or iaStor by Intel Corporation (www.intel.com).

Edited: Jonathan posted as I was typing.

OK it's been a BSOD morning. I haven't uninstalled Lightroom yet.

I just ran Driver Verifier...it had a STOP code, error, not sure what you call it and while I've had that before, I haven't had this, until now:

RTSTOR64.SYS Address FFFFF880051A4088 base at FFFFF880051A3000, DateStamp 49a25bf1

and then it did it again:
RTSTOR64.SYS Address FFFFF88005622088 base at FFFFF88005621000, DateStamp 49a25bf1

Turned off the Driver Verifier and it BS'd again...without RTSTOR and with:

STOP: 0x0000003B (0x00000000C000001D, 0xFFFFF88000000000, 0xFFFFF88007DD3160, 0x0000000000000000)

Thoughts?

Happy 4th all!

The RTSTOR64.SYS appears to be a driver for a Realtek USB card reader. ... I would update its driver just to test.
