Bluescreens and even more of them...

    Hello,

I get many bluescreens (Windows 7 64bit). Sometimes all few minutes, sometimes just one in a couple of hours.
In the beginning it were just 0x0000003b and 0x00000035. But now they get more and more (eg: USBCCGP.sys, 0x000000CE, Elanfltr.sys, 0x000000AO).
I could not recognize any connection with used hard- or software.

    My system:
    Asus M2N68-AM SE2
    4x AMD Athlon II X4 630
    RAM 2x 2048 MB DDR2 PC800 Apacer
    HDD Western Digital S-ATA 500GB
    NVIDIA GeForce 9500 GT
    Logitech RX1000 Mouse
    Hama Penalizer Pro Keyboard
    Samsung P2450H
    DVD-Laufwerk
    USB WebCam
    CardReader

Does anyone have an idea to solve the problem:

    Regards,
    Aerocelle

    You have 3 dump files

Two have similar Bug Check errors and the other shows a different cause
The Errors are 3b and A0

    Stop 0x0000003B: System Service Exception

Usual causes: System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory

    A0 indicates
The INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR bug check has a value of 0x000000A0. This bug check indicates that the power policy manager experienced a fatal error.
In your case may be hibernate power saver.

Suggestions: Remove SPTD systems with the removal tool

ASACPI systems can be another source of the problem

If you're getting missing asacpi.sys file errors or other errors with the asacpi.sys file I suggest that you re-install the program, uninstall and re-install a more up-to-date version, and/or check to see if any updates are available for the program associated with the file. If the porgram is not needed, it should be uninstalled.

The following drivers are old and should be replaced
    O ElbyCDIO.sys Tue Dec 12 17:51:36 2006
    ElanFltr.sys Wed May 23 05:22:06 2007
    4 nvm62x64.sys Fri Oct 17 17:01:06 2008
    AsIO.sys Mon Apr 06 03:21:08 2009
    ASACPI.sys Wed May 13 21:25:17 2009
    amdxata.sys Tue May 19 13:56:59 2009
    nvstor.sys Wed May 20 02:45:37 2009

A memory test should be made using memtest86

Your graphics driver should be checked for corruption, age, and replaced if necessary.

The given cause ntkrnlmp, usually indicates a driver problem
    The other report indicated that
ElanFltr.sys may be a potential problem.
The file ElanFltr.sys is likely a legitimate Windows file or a disguised threat. As malicious PC threats may delete legitimate files and then pretend themselves to be normal files to compromise system, it is highly recommended to run an instant full scan over your system

    Memory test
    http://memtest.org/

    SPTD removal tool
    http://www.duplexsecure.com/en/downloads

Try your hibernation power feature, there may be a problem in that area, per the second report.
    Scan your files for corruption
SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker[2]=Performance Maintenance
Run a through anti virus scan
Use the driver verifier to test all drivers.
Using Driver Verifier to identify issues with Drivers

    ASACPI.sys
Uninstall and use most current driver.

I will do a memtest tomorrow. Until now I started it under windows, but it always crashed after a few minutes. It works under DOS. What about the settings? Can I keep the original ones? ECC is it turned off. Is that okay?

I don't get any asacpi.sys file errors. Do I have to change something about it?

How can I get all the actual drivers?

The anti virus scan did not mention any problems.

    Regards

These are the drivers and the corresponding companies that I was able to quickly ascertain. Go to the company website and download the appropriate driver

    \Amdxata.sys file description
    Productname: Storage Filter Driver
    Description: Storage Filter Driver
    Company: Advanced Micro Devices
    File size: Various

    asIo.sys.
    asus diagnostics.

    4 nvm62x64.sys
    nvestor.sys
    http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk

    Elanfltr.sys file description
    Productname: Ortek USB Keypad
    Description: Ortek USB Keypad Driver
    Company: Waytech Development, Inc.
    File size: Various

    Elbycdio.sys file description
    Productname: CDRTools
Description: ElbyCD Windows NT/2000/XP I/O driver
    Company: Elaborate Bytes AG
    File size: Various

    Nvstor.sys file description
    Productname: NVIDIA nForce(TM) SATA Driver
Description: NVIDIA® nForce(TM) Sata Performance Driver
    Company: NVIDIA Corporation

You should try to make all tests under normal orperating conditions
You can keep asacpi.sys, for now.
Everything should be turned on as in normal use, so it can be tested.

Here are the next steps whioh I made:

The system File Checker did not find any problems.

I checked my system also with Spybot, Spyware Cease and CCleaner. Everything is fine now.

I reinstalled my graphics driver. - Just to be sure.

I removed SPTD and Daemon Tools.

I made a memory test with memtest86 and the default settings. - Hopefully they were correct. - The test lastet for 8 hours, nearly 7 passes, and no error was found.

Actually I did not do all the things from your list. But I keep on trying and will let you know.

Just make the changes at your own leisure, and then use the machine. If you no longer have the problem, just save the post for furture reference. If the problem still occurs, make a few more changes.

Seems like the last steps helped a bit. During the past days I only got BSODs because of Elanfltr.sys.

I tried to get the latest drivers as you suggested. But I didn't find any newer ones. I looked for elanfltr.sys and some of the others. Might it be possible that I alreday have the latest ones and that no new ones were published 2006/07/08/09 and now? Or am I just not able to find them?

I suppose that Elanfltr.sys is the driver for my keyboard. So I had a look in the device manager and found something strange:
Physically I have one keyboard: Hama Penalizer Pro Gaming Keyboard.
The device manager displays three keyboards.
    - 2 times a Pro Gaming Keyboard under "Human Interface Devices" (Driver 1.0.0.0 from 3rd April 2007 from Waytech, Signature from Sagatek)
    - 1 time a HID-keyboard under "Keyboards" (Driver 6.1.7600.16385 from 21st June 2006 from Microsoft, Signature from Microsoft)
If I uninstall one or even all of the "3" keyboards an reboot, they all are back. Is it normal, that the device manager/system does that?

By the way: Here are the latest dump files:

You are correct, most of the dump indicate elanfltr.sys

    Elanfltr.sys file description
    Productname: Ortek USB Keypad
    Description: Ortek USB Keypad Driver
    Company: Waytech Development, Inc.
    File size: Various

This is what I found on the Website of the Mfg.
