Processes List for Debugging

This is a running list of processes that run in Windows for use in Debugging.
Feel free to add to it, and I will keep this post updated.

-Amd CPU driver

-Asus ATK0110 ACPI Utility. Also a part of the Asus PCProbe and AISuite Utilities. Known to cause BSoDs.

-And IDE Storage driver


-ATI Video Card Driver. This is the standard name for ALL of ATI's drivers.

-AntiVir AV process.

-AVG process.


-AVG antivirus process. Known to cause problems. Removal tool here.

-Windows system file. Fixes drag and drop from Vista

-The driver for SCSI devices.

-Desktop Windows Manager. Windows system file.


-Part of DirectX.

-Part of SuperFetch. System file.

-Intel Processor driver


-Atheros AR8121/AR8113/AR8114 PCI-E Ethernet Controller

-Mcafee antivius component

-Precompiler for the .NET assembly. Windows system File.


-Windows System file.

Maxtor OneTouch Driver

-Intel Wireless Driver.


-Critical System File.


-Windows NTFS file system driver.


-Windows system process.

-NVidia Graphics Driver.

-Windows System PCI driver.

-Driver KNOWN to cause BSoDs. Removal Tool Here.

-Windows Error Reporting Process.


-Windows system process.

-In-game chat client.

-Windows system USB driver.

-USB drivers

Please post any and all processes not on the list, and I will make sure to update.
