    Win 7 BSOD BC Code 50 fileinfo.sys page fault in no paged area


    Specs:
    Win 7 Ultimate x64 from technet
    AMD 1055t CPU
    8 GB G Skill Ram had problem with one stick, got it replaced. checked new lot with overnight memtest and no errors.
    Blue Screens for more than a month.

    HELP please!!!!!

    Thanks..Will give it a go.


    Thanks for the reply mate. will give it a try today and post the results. Any ideas from the mini dump? i see a few different BSODs including one with fileinfo.sys and another one that just says MEMORY MANAGEMENT both with Page Fault in Non Paged Area.

    Had more BSODs one b4 verifier and others after.


    The BSODs were more often after verifier. strangely i saw a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD. Which i never saw on this system before. Thanks for your help guys. really frustrated with BSODs on this new build. Most high tech build ever for me.

    Strange...no dmps in that folder. The report file says there are 5 dmps in your minidump folder.

    Did you run the program as administrator?

    Forgot to run it as Administrator. running it now. Attached are the mini dumps. just had another BSOD PFN_LIST_CORRUPT or similar. including that minidump as well.

    Memtest


    Just set memtest this morning (couple of hours ago) will post back what is comes back with. i had already left it overnight when i got the RAM replaced. i saw another member Doompa have similar problems with gkill ddr2 memory though. his was solved with replacing it with corsair memory. hope i dont have to do the same otherwise explaining this to the sales ppl at the retailer will be a bastar*.
