Format a SDCARD 2 GB to Fat 16 using windows 7

    Good Day Gentlemen!

I have a problem with my Eten Glofiish X610. I need to format my SDCARD 2GB to FAT16 to flush a new rom for my PDA but my Netbook (Packard Bell) running windows 7 cannot format my SDCARD to Fat 16..it says ....FORMAT IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR FAT16 DRIVERS..is there any sofware (third party) that can format these cards to fat 16 using windows 7?

I doubt it as 16 bit is barely supported itself in win 7. Have you tried googling it? You can probably format it in 16 bit using some external utility.

    SwissKnife does not work

I bought SwissKnife Premium to be able to use it with Windows 7. It will not remove the existing partitions on an SD Card, and will not let you format any SD card larger than 2 GB as FAT16. It will also not allow you to resize the existing partition. So, unless you have an unformatted SD card, It does nothing for you... Just costs you $10 bucks.

You can try Partition wizard, the home edition is free. I used it to format a 500 GB external to fat 32 when windows wouldn't let me.
