How do I view the error log to see why Windows 7 64-bit keeps freezing

Then look at the admin portion

To clarify:

Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events (double click)

Give us the other information error number etc.

In the mean time do this:
System Files - SFC Command - Vista Forums
For windows 7 and Vista

Run it several times if errors are found
