    new problem

Welcome to WhoCrashed Home Edition 2.10
This program checks for drivers which have been crashing your computer.

Whenever a computer suddenly reboots without displaying any notice or blue screen of death, the first thing that is often though about is a hardware failure. In reality, on Windows most crashes are caused by malfunctioning device drivers and kernel modules. In case of a kernel error, most computers do not show a blue screen unless they are configured to do so. Instead these systems suddenly reboot without any notice.

This program does post-mortem crash dump analysis with the single click of a button.

    Conclusion
47 crash dumps have been found on your computer. Only 40 could be analyzed. Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is really responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

i ran sfc/scannow and it said

Windows resource protection did not find any integrity violation
try to run chkdsk /r and it says cannot lock and currently in use
i send my comp to shop and the tech there said fine

Well, all those errors are with Windows itself, except for one that is a DirectX error. I assume you have done a virus scan?

Can you please post your minidump so that we can take a look at it in detail:
    https://www.sevenforums.com/crash-loc...d-problem.html

In the result you posted above, I can see that both memory and hard drive issue are related. I would suggest you to run these quick check:
    Disk Check
    HD Diagnostic

And system files check: SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Please download third party called memtestx86, burn it to CD using ISO Recorder v3 , and let it run for at least 7 passes
    Memory Diagnostics (Instruction)

let us know if you need help

stellarknight, remove all of your RAM except one stick and test that stick for at least 7 passes. Move it to next slot and repeat until you have tried it in each slot. Then do the same with the next stick and so on until you have tested each stick singly in each slot. Keep any bad sticks separated from the good ones. In this way you will test each RAM stick and each RAM slot. It is possible to have a bad RAM slot. Report back with your results.

Yes, This can either bad ram stick or bad motherboard slot. If you already found good slot, u have to test it on different slot to find which slots are bad
