Run the exe? It could possibly be in a zip file, so you may have to unzip it.

That would not have done anything. Double check to see if there is an exe in there - re download it if you have to.

That is Windows disk-controller driver and it was also present in one of your dump files that I ran last time.

So possibly a Hard Drive fault.

Run sfc /scannow and chkdsk /r /f from an elevated (run-as-admin) command prompt.

And run this hard drive diagnostic tool: SeaTools | Seagate

I also see you have AVG installed. This does cause BSODs sometimes and you may want to uninstall it for testing purposes.

AVG Removal Instructions
Quote:
Download the AVG Removal Tool (ART) from here (make sure you get the appropriate version) -> save to desktop.

Boot into SAFEMODE - NO Networking. Then go to desktop, RIGHT-click on the ART icon and select Run as Administrator.

When complete - re-boot.

Install MS Security Essentials --> http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Then reset the Windows Firewall to its default settings -
START -> type cmd.exe -> right-click -> run as administrator -> type netsh advfirewall reset press enter
You also had SPTD.sys loaded at the time of the crash.
Code:
sptd.sys Mon Oct 12 09:55:14 2009
This is notorious for causing BSODs; remove Daemon Tools, then use this SPTD installer to remove it (pick the uninstall option when you run it): DuplexSecure - Downloads

Try all that, and see how it goes.

Regards,
Reventon

I am interested in this BSOD. Would you mind posting back about 2 weeks after the BSODs stop, just to let us know that it is solved officially?
